The main objective of the workshop is to bring together econometricians as well as macroeconomists, who have an interest in modeling earnings dynamics. The program will consist of invited and contributed papers covering different areas such as the estimation and calibration of post-schooling skill accumulation models, modeling income and consumption processes, estimating the relative importance of heterogeneity and ex-ante risk, evaluating the behavioral implications of persistence in transitory vs permanent shocks, as well as other topics.
In parallel, we also welcome submissions of full papers falling within the research topic of the workshop for a special issue of the Journal of Applied Econometrics. Submissions for this special issue are now open and will close 30 September 2014(see My Space section for submission).
Submissions are open to all, they are not conditional on workshop attendance.
